1. Installation
1.1 When installing the reducer, special attention should be paid to the alignment of the transmission center axis, and the alignment error should not exceed the compensation amount of the coupling used in the reducer. After the gearbox is aligned according to the requirements, it can achieve more ideal transmission effect and longer service life.
1.2 When installing the transmission components on the output shaft of the reducer, attention must be paid to the gentle operation. It is prohibited to use tools such as hammers for rough installation. The installation is carried out using assembly fixtures and internal threads at the shaft end. The transmission components are pressed into the reducer shaft with the force of bolts, which can protect the internal parts of the reducer from damage.
2. Technical specifications
2.1 There are various types of couplings used in the gearbox, but do not use rigid fixed couplings. These couplings do not have radial offset compensation and are difficult to install. Improper installation can increase the load, easily causing bearing damage and even causing the output shaft to break.
2.2 The fixation of the gearbox is very important to ensure stability and firmness. Generally speaking, we should install the gearbox on a horizontal foundation or base, while ensuring smooth oil discharge from the oil outlet and smooth circulation of cooling air. When the reducer is not fixed properly and the foundation is unreliable, noise, vibration, and other phenomena may occur, which can also cause unnecessary damage to the bearings and gears.
2.3 If necessary, protective devices should be installed on the transmission connection components of the reducer, such as protrusions on the connection components or the use of gears or sprockets for transmission. If the output shaft bears a large radial load, a reinforced type should also be selected.
2.4The installation position of the reducer should ensure the operation of the staff, including convenient access to the oil pointer, vent plug, and drain plug. After the installation of the reducer is completed, the inspector should comprehensively check the accuracy of the installation position in order to determine the reliability of each fastener.
3. Standards
3.1 Before running the reducer, it is necessary to prepare for operation. Remove the vent plug of the oil pool and replace it with a vent plug. Open the oil level plug screw to check the oil line height. Add lubricating oil beyond the oil level plug screw until the hole overflows. Then, screw in the oil level plug and confirm that it is correct before starting the trial run.
3.2 The trial operation time of the reducer should not be less than two hours. The standard for normal operation is that it runs smoothly, without vibration, noise, leakage, or impact. If any abnormal situations occur, they should be promptly eliminated.
