In fact, in the processing of precision parts, superhard abrasive wheels have some requirements for grinding machines, and it is best to grind on superhard abrasive wheel grinding machines. The requirements for grinding machines with superhard grinding wheels mainly include the following aspects:
1. The grinding machine should have high accuracy. The radial circular runout should be; 0.001mm, the axial circular runout should be; 0.005mm, the main shaft bearings are mostly dynamic and static pressure bearings, dynamic and static pressure combination bearings, or static pressure bearings to ensure the precision machining accuracy of precision parts required for precision grinding.
2. The grinder must have sufficient stiffness, high stability, and low vibration. The stiffness of the machine tool will affect the stability and vibration resistance of the grinding process, thereby affecting the durability and service life of the superhard grinding wheel, as well as the grinding quality. Generally speaking, the stiffness requirements of machine tools are higher than those of ordinary grinding machines; The stiffness is about 50% higher.
3. It is required to have a good feeding system with high accuracy, uniform and stable speed, wide speed range, and high speed to ensure productivity requirements, while low speed to ensure grinding size, shape accuracy, and surface roughness requirements. Usually, the minimum longitudinal feed rate should be 0.lm/min or less, and the minimum transverse feed rate (grinding depth) should be 0.001-0.0005mm/8t (st ^ single stroke). For grinding with micro powder grinding wheels, the matching between the transverse feed speed of the grinding machine and the size of the abrasive particles should be considered.
4. The issue of dressing superhard abrasive wheels should be considered. The dressing of superhard abrasive wheels will involve the need for some special devices, working fluids, and dressing parameters, which will enable the machine tool to be reinstalled.
5. All moving components of precision parts processing machine tools, such as the rotating part of the spindle and the feed motion guide, should be reliably sealed to prevent severe wear caused by the entry of superhard abrasives.
6. Entering causes severe wear and tear. There should be a complete grinding fluid treatment system to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the grinding fluid, without affecting the surface roughness of the machining process, and to prevent unclean grinding work from wearing the moving parts of the machine tool.
7. The grinding of superhard abrasive wheels requires low vibration, and the machine tool should be placed on an anti vibration foundation, and corresponding anti vibration and isolation measures should be taken. For example, the grinding wheel should be finely trimmed and balanced, and anti vibration pads should be added at the contact between the machine tool and the ground.
