What should I do when I find that the circuit breaker of a large CNC machining center has tripped (the BRK light is on)?
Cause analysis: It is possible that the two uninsured circuit breakers in the main circuit have detected abnormal current, tripped, or detected a fault in the circuit.
1. If it cannot be closed, there is a short circuit in the main circuit. The rectifier bridge, large capacitor, transistor module, etc. of the main circuit should be carefully checked.
2. Control board alarm circuit failure.
3. Check if the two uninsured circuit breakers at the power input end of the main circuit have tripped, and they should be ON (green) normally.
Abnormal current alarm (HCAL red light lit), cause analysis: The 185V AC of the servo unit is rectified to 300V DC, and there is a detection resistor on the DC side to detect the DC current. If there is a short circuit in the future, this alarm will be generated immediately.
1. If it is a high speed alarm and the low speed is normal, it may be a problem with the control board or motor, which can also be determined by exchanging servo units.
2. Observe whether the CNC machining center continuously alarms or occasionally. If the alarm persists, it indicates a unit or control board malfunction, otherwise it may be the motor.
3. If it persists, use a multimeter to measure whether the main circuit transistor module is short circuited. Replace the transistor module yourself. If it is not short circuited, exchange the control board with another axis. If it is transferred with the control board, repair the control board.
