In the early stage of use of the turning milling composite processing lathe, it takes about one year from the installation and debugging of the entire machine to its operation. The characteristic of faults at this stage is their high frequency, which rapidly decreases with the increase of usage time. The reasons for frequent malfunctions in the early stages of use are roughly as follows:
1. Electrical reasons.
The control system of the turning and milling compound lathe uses a large number of electronic components. Although these components have undergone long-term aging tests and other screening in the manufacturing plant, in practical use, some components with poor performance cannot withstand testing due to factors such as circuit heating and switching being affected by variable loads, surge currents, and back electromotive forces. Due to current impact or voltage breakdown, or changes in characteristic curves, the entire system cannot function properly and is scrapped.
2. Hydraulic reasons.
Due to the long-term transportation and installation of the turn-milling composite processing after leaving the factory, some parts of the hydraulic system have no oil for a long time, and the lubricating oil in the oil cylinder is dry. Oil mist lubrication cannot take effect immediately, causing rust on the hydraulic cylinder or oil cylinder. In addition, if the newly installed air pipe is not cleaned thoroughly, some debris and moisture may also enter the system, causing initial failure of hydraulic and pneumatic components.
3. Mechanical reasons.
Although the turn-milling composite lathe has a running-in before leaving the factory, the time is short, mainly due to the running-in of the spindle and guide rail. Due to micro and macro geometric errors in the machining surface of the part, the machining surface of the part is still relatively rough before complete grinding in, and there may be errors in the assembly of the part. Therefore, significant wear and tear can cause large gaps between the relative moving parts of the equipment, leading to malfunctions.
