Turning milling composite processing is a high-precision and high-efficiency automated process. In order to ensure its working accuracy and extend its service life, it is necessary to carry out reasonable maintenance work on the household milling compound CNC lathe. The quality of lathe maintenance directly affects the processing quality and production efficiency of the workpiece.
1. Maintenance of lathe parts
After the end of each shift, operators must clean up any debris scattered on mops, guides, etc; During operation, check whether the cutting blade of the tool is normal, and be careful not to accumulate chips, damage the accuracy of the guide rail, and endanger the service life of the ball screw and guide rail; Before completing the homework, please reset and stop the origin of each servo axis.
2. Maintenance of Lathe Motor
Electricians must inspect the servo motor and spindle motor annually. Focus on checking its operating noise and temperature rise. When excessive noise is found, the reason is mechanical problems such as bearings or corresponding amplifier parameter settings. Take corresponding measures to solve them. For DC motors, please inspect, adjust, maintain or replace brushes, commutators, etc. to ensure they are in good working condition. Check if the cooling fan at the end of the motor is working properly and if the dust is clean; Check if the motor coupling plug is loose.
3. Maintenance of hardware control part in CNC system
(1) Please have an experienced maintenance electrician inspect once a year. Check whether the output voltage of each circuit of the power module, the reference voltage of the CNC unit, and other related reference voltages are within the specified range. If they are not normal, remove dust;
(2) Check whether the connections of various electrical components in the system are loose;
(3) Check whether each functional module is using a fan for normal operation and dust removal;
(4) Check if the connection between the servo amplifier and the external regenerative discharge unit used by the spindle amplifier is reliable and remove dust;
(5) Whether the voltage of the memory backup battery used by each functional module is normal should be regularly tested and replaced according to the manufacturer's requirements. For machine tools that have not undergone turning and milling composite processing for a long time, running them for 4 hours per month can extend the service life of CNC machine tools.
4. Maintenance and upkeep of turning and milling compound CNC lathes that have not been used for a long time
When a CNC lathe is not in use, it is often powered on through the CNC system, and when the machine tool is locked, it idles. In the rainy season with high air humidity, power should be turned on every day to use the heat of the electrical appliance itself to drive away the moisture inside the CNC cabinet, making the performance of electronic components stable and reliable.
