The metal parts fabrication is a part manufacturing process that involves machining processes such as CNC machining, milling, turning, drilling, EDM, and wire cutting, among others. The workpiece is cut into the desired shape, size, and surface finish through a process that removes metal material , to meet the specification requirements of product design and engineering drawings.

Why use CNC technology for metal processing?
The process involved in the processing of metal parts
1.Flexible and efficient production
CNC has made custom metal parts fabrication easier and has long been considered the best way to ensure high standards in metalworking and parts manufacturing. All processes can be set up using adjustable fixtures and automated machine tool positioning systems, making it more flexible to respond to production planning and greatly improving production efficiency.
2.High precision and repeatability
CNC metal machining can achieve greater precision and accuracy. The production is completely controlled automatically by the program, the processing process is continuous, each part is an exact copy, the processing process is fast and simple, and completely consistent output can be obtained.
3.Eliminate labor and reduce costs
Due to technological developments, machining in the manufacturing industry has been automated. The process is mainly controlled by computers or robots, which avoids the long process of the production line, reduces hardware investment and manual workload, saves a lot of time and energy, and thus reduces production costs.
Turning – This is a form of CNC metalworking that involves the use of lathes and cutting tools to remove unwanted metal material from rotating parts. CNC turning is ideal for manufacturing cylindrical parts.
Milling – A milling operation involves the removal of material from a workpiece using a multi-point rotating tool. Features of the milling process include pockets, slots, faces, complex contours and chamfers.
Drilling – Drilling creates a circular hole in a workpiece. A drilling or tapping machine is designed for drilling holes, but a milling machine can also be used to perform the process. The boring process involves enlarging an existing cast or drilled hole; reaming is used to enlarge a previously drilled hole to a very precise diameter.
Electrical Discharge – Sparking (EDM Electrical Discharge Machining) is the removal of material from the surface of a workpiece by the erosive process of electric discharge. As an auxiliary processing technology, it is widely used in aluminum parts processing, because some complex parts can only be realized with the help of EDM.
Wire cutting - it uses a moving wire as a tool electrode, and passes a pulse current between the wire and the workpiece, and uses the corrosion of the pulse discharge to cut the workpiece.
